While creating a user account, we provide a password. Can the user change the password to that of their choice when they login for the first time? In Windows I can see the option “User must change password at next login” but not in Mac. How does it work in mac?
Hey folks, I wanna sign in to Hexnode with my Google workspace account, like SSO login. How do I do that?
I’m currently doing some spring cleaning in our instance and noticed a handful of new "Technician" accounts that I don’t recognize. Does anyone know how to identify which technician originally created an account? Oh yeah, I am using the Enterprise plan, so let me know if there's a way to do it in that specifically!
Hey, how y’all doing! I’ve got this issue I’m trying to figure out, whenever downtime is scheduled, I really want the users on these devices to be notified directly. The problem is that a lot of them miss emails or don’t check other communication channels, and I can’t keep sending messages manually every single time. Is there a way I could automatically push…
I am working on a new project and I’ve only ever set up my phone manually before, so this whole “enrollment” process is new to me. They mentioned something about using a QR code to get my Android device enrolled. Could you guide me on this?
I need to enroll a new MacBook for an employee, but my device limit (82) has already been reached. How can I proceed? Also, Is this limit per user or for the entire portal?
Is there an automated way to remove blocklisted apps from multiple devices without having to manually select each one or trigger uninstalls one by one? I'm looking for something that just handles it the moment a device is enrolled or detects a restricted app.
Hey everyone, our enterprise fleet has grown massively over the last year, spanning across different time zones and remote home-office setups. We are currently stuck in a reactive break-fix nightmare where our IT team only jumps in after a system fails or a user complains. On top of that, our current standalone RMM tool is…
Regex? I keep hearing this. What is it actually, and what do people use it for?
Hi everyone, I just saw a banner on play.google.com/work/apps saying the site is shutting down on April 15th. I use the /work URL trick all the time. Whenever I want to quickly check if an app supports business features (like managed settings), I just change /store to /work in the Google Play web link. Does anyone…
Hi, I’m facing an issue where a few devices seem to switch between configurations. For example, a restriction gets applied and then reverted after some time. It looks like two policies are conflicting and the device keeps toggling between them. Has anyone seen this kind of “policy flipping” behavior?
It is so annoying to have to use 2FA for actions that require password verification when we're already logged in to Hexnode. At least enable use of the Authenticator app we use to sign in so we're not getting a ton of 2FA emails.
When deleting an item from a group, there is a check box that says "Remember". Make it remember my action between sessions. I know it is removed.Make it a setting that is toggleable inside my account
I do a lot of group changes when we upgrade iPads. Adding to groups, removing from groups, but it isn't in batches (all these ipads need to be added, though it does happen as well). What I'm proposing is that when looking at a devices groups, to the left the of the search, if I…
When an action applied to a device fails I would love to just reinitiate the action by clicking a button right next to it instead of having to manually look for the action again in the menu
i think if you could add a fix compliance option that would be awesome, for example an action option to "install missing profiles" to all selected devices. "install all missing apps"
Hello, I would like more options in the Execute Custom Scripts policy. It would be nice to have various options like daily, weekly etc. If possibly customizable on the time and days the scripts get executed.
Current have to manage groups then add device. Would like to be able to add to group from the device page itself. Thanks.
Hexnode has great Help Center features. But unlike Hexnode Connect, I don't see a place to "Subscribe" or "Save" specific help documents. (Example) It would be great to allow us to create a library that we could sort or add tags to, making reference to the Help Center documents easier. If that is too much,…
Being able to reset an individual users data usage in the event they have reached the policy data limit would be useful. We have occasions where users reach their limit before the end of the month and sometimes we are ok for them to use more, we cant just reset their device stats to unblock…
Hi ! We have many policies and it would be usefull to be able to store them in "folders" (folders, Labels, ... Any tool to filter or organize policies would be usefull). Thank you !
Hi ! I've some custom scripts. Some of this scripts (few used) require arguments. And I don't remenber when I run the custom script how argument I've to add. If it will be possible to add comments when I upload a script, it will be possible to show this comment when I run a script…
Two enhancments to make the Action History easier to use when diagnosing a problem: 1) Make the status drop down a multi-select instead of a single one. I'd like to be able to see pending and in progress actions at the same time, for example. 2) Add a free form search to the filter. I'd…
