QR code enrollment

The Android devices can be enrolled quickly by scanning the QR code which is an alternative for the server name.

Flashlight in kiosk mode

The devices in kiosk mode can be provided with the option to access the flashlight.

Volume control in kiosk mode

The volume of a device in kiosk mode can be adjusted from the console.

Hide navigation bar

The navigation bar in the Android device is now completely disabled in the Kiosk mode.

Keep screen on

The Android kiosk device can be forced to stay on all the time.

Where can I get this QR code from? Is that via mail or any option to see from the portal?

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

You can find the QR code either from the portal or it can be sent to the users via Email/SMS. This will depend upon the enrollment method you have chosen.
For open-enrollment, you can find the QR code from the portal. Please navigate to Enroll-> Platform-Specific-> Android-> QR Code, Email or SMS. Open the Hexnode MDM app (can be downloaded from the play store) and tap the QR code icon shown at the bottom left of the screen. Scan the QR code displayed on the portal and follow the on-screen instruction for completing the enrollment process.

In the case of authenticated enrollment, you can send the QR code to the user via email. To send the enrollment request, navigate to Enroll-> Platform-Specific-> QR Code, Email or SMS. Select the enrollment request mode as Email. Select the user and send the request. The user will then receive an Email with the QR code. Open the Hexnode MDM app, tap on the QR code icon at the bottom left of the screen. Scan the QR code and follow the on-screen instruction for completing the enrollment process.
