Peripheral Settings

1. Enable/Disable Airplane mode
   A new option to enable/disable Airplane mode while in kiosk has been included under Policies > Kiosk Lockdown > Android Kiosk Lockdown > Peripheral Settings > Network. This feature is supported on Hexnode MDM app v11.9.6+ and Hexnode for Work app v7.9.6+. Learn more.

Kiosk Exit Settings

You can now customize the number of taps to display the kiosk exit passcode pop up on your devices.

1. Navigate to Policies > Kiosk Lockdown > Android Kiosk Lockdown > Kiosk Exit Settings.
2. Provide the number of taps for kiosk exit under the field Number of taps to display the popup to enter the exit passcode.
3. It can take values from 5 to 15. Learn more.

Advanced Website Kiosk Settings

We have enhanced the Advanced Website Kiosk Settings by adding the following features under Policies > Kiosk Lockdown > Android Kiosk Lockdown > Peripheral Settings:
Media:

• Block file download: Supported on Hexnode Kiosk Browser v4.5+ and Hexnode Browser Lite v11.9.8+.
• Open file after download: Supported on Hexnode Kiosk Browser v4.5+ and Hexnode Browser Lite v11.9.8+.
• Keep download history: Supported on Hexnode Kiosk Browser v4.5+.

Other Settings:

• Show an exit prompt when back button is pressed: Supported on Hexnode Kiosk Browser and Hexnode Kiosk Browser Lite.
• Hexnode Browser can open external apps: Supported on Hexnode Kiosk Browser v4.5+.
• Open in new tab: Supported on Hexnode Kiosk Browser v4.5+.
• Maximum number of tabs allowed: Supported on Hexnode Kiosk Browser v4.5+.
• Allow private browsing: Supported on Hexnode Kiosk Browser v4.5+.
• Maximum number of incognito tabs allowed: Supported on Hexnode Kiosk Browser v4.5+. Learn more.
