Receives error message on trying to enroll Mac in Hexnode MDMSolved

I was trying to enroll an macOS device in Hexnode. Received this error- Could not download the identity profile from the Encrypted Profile Service. The credentials within the Device Enrollment profile may have expired.

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

This error occurs as you are trying to enroll a restricted device model. However, this issue can be solved:

  • Navigate to Enroll-> Settings in the Hexnode portal.
  • Go to Enrollment Restrictions-> Device Models allowed, check the box corresponding to macOS.
  • Click Save.

You will now be able to enroll the desired device.
