We’ve moved the application compliance to a new section, and the Blocklist/Allowlist policy now focuses solely on blocking unwanted apps.
While Blocklist/Allowlist makes the blocked apps unavailable on the devices, Application Compliance lets you manage compliance without hiding or restricting access to the blocked applications. If any blocklisted apps are found on the device, the device will be marked as “non-compliant.” Likewise, when apps are allowlisted, any other apps on the device are treated as blocklisted, resulting in the device being marked as “non-compliant.”
