It’s been a while since Hexnode introduced Deployments, which has simplified device management, making it smoother than ever. With powerful automation and scheduling capabilities, the Deploy tab has already simplified tasks for our users. Recently, we took it up a notch with its first enhancement of Windows Updates galore! These updates provide users with a new way to manage patches and updates on Windows devices. And now, it’s time to elevate things even further. That’s right, you heard it! We’re rolling out a plethora of new actions across multiple platforms, designed to take your device management game to the next level. 🚀
Remote actions have always been the MVP of instant device management, and now, this star player is also joining the Deployments team. This marks the coolest upgrade yet for the Deploy tab, setting a new benchmark in streamlined device management.
Here’s the platform-wise list of actions included in this phase of the release:
- iOS:
A total of 8 actions were added and divided into three sections as follows:
Scans: Scan Device, Scan Device Location.
Alerts: Broadcast Message.
Device Control: Power Off, Restart Device, Lock Device, Enable Lost mode, Disable Lost mode. - Android:
A total of 8 actions were added and divided into three sections as follows:
Scans: Scan Device, Scan Device Location.
Alerts: Broadcast Message.
Device Control: Power Off, Restart Device, Lock Device, Enable Lost mode, Disable Lost mode. - Windows:
A total of 10 actions were added and divided into four sections as follows:
Scans: Scan Device, Sync Local Accounts, Scan Device Location.
Alerts: Broadcast Message.

User Controls: Create User Account. - macOS:
A total of 8 actions were added and divided into four sections as follows:
