Hexnode UEM introduces new restriction options to help IT admins control Apple Intelligence features on iOS 18+ devices. These restrictions help maintain tighter control over sensitive information by limiting the use of AI-driven tools and reducing data exposure risks.
Available Restriction Options

- Genmojii: Prevents users from creating personalized emoji-like images using AI.
- Image Playground: Blocks the creation of cartoon-like images using text prompts.
- Image Wand: Disables the image wand tool in Notes, restricting image generation from rough sketches or empty spaces.
- Personalized Handwriting Results: Stops the system from generating text in the user’s handwriting.
- Writing tools: Prevents the usage of Apple Intelligence Writing tools for proofreading, rewriting, or transforming text.
- Mail Summary: Restricts manual creation of email summaries while allowing automatic summary generation to remain unaffected.
Navigate to Policies > iOS > Advanced Restrictions > Allow Apple Intelligence and adjust the settings to match your organizational needs.
