Notifications for SIM card removal/insertion/change.Solved

Hi all, our company has provided Android phones to field employees. Recently, one of them replaced the official SIM with their personal SIM. We need to prevent this for security and management purposes, so can the admins get notified in such scenarios?

Yes, admins can be notified when a SIM card is removed / inserted / replaced with another one. To enable these notifications, navigate to the Notifications section under the Admin tab in the Hexnode UEM console. Then, enable the following options:

  • SIM card added
  • SIM card removed
  • SIM card changed

Please note that these notifications are sent only for devices enrolled as Android Enterprise Device Owner.

Options enabled for notifying admins on actions on SIM card.

Hi @sybylla , usually these notifications don’t take much time. However, the notification speed may depend on network connectivity of the device and server communication.
