Disenrolled Kiosk iPad – Can’t WipeSolved

Hi,

I have a supervised iPad that I was a while ago testing a Kiosk setup with and ultimately the iPad ended up stuck in a drawer and never being used.

I’m unsure how it’s happened but the device has been disenrolled which when I’ve booted the iPad up today and got online it has received this and proceeded to remove a chunk of the config.

What I’ve got though is an iPad that automatically boots into the Hexnode MDM app and doesn’t allow me to come out of this at all.

Until I can find a way to wipe the iPad it’s currently useless. I’ve tried to boot it into Recovery mode and restore via iTunes on a Windows machine but that runs into a nondescript error.

Is there anyway to get back into the iPad or to force a reset of it?

As a followup, I’ve been able to wipe the iPad using a MacBook but if there was indeed a way to navigate around Hexnode in this case it’d still be good to know. I unfortunately wouldn’t be able to test it.
