Hello guys,
I had the same issue a few weeks back. Basically, Apple wants to ensure that the domains associated with your organization in Apple Business Manager (ABM) are legitimate and controlled by your company. This is part of their security measures to prevent unauthorized access and misuse of Apple IDs within organizations. Follow the below steps to verify your domains,
- Log in to Apple Business Manager as an administrator.
- Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, select Preferences, then Accounts.
- Under the “Accounts” section, find the “Domains” section, select Edit, then Add Domain. Here, you will see the list of domains that need to be verified.
- Review the list of domains, then click Edit > Verify next to the domain you want to verify.
- You will see a TXT record and receive an email stating that the domain you selected is now in the process of being verified. The TXT record contains a string with random characters.
- Select Copy and add the TXT record to your DNS zone file.
- After the TXT record is added, finalize the verification process by going to “Accounts” in ABM, locating the domain, and clicking on “Check Now”.
- If the TXT record has been correctly entered into the DNS zone file, the displayed record and “Copy” button should change to “Verified Ownership.”
- Once the domain is verified, the TXT record can be removed from the DNS zone file.
I hope this helps!
