Hello folks! Quick question! How do I verify that the Antivirus policy I just created has been successfully installed and applied to the targeted devices?
Hey people, I’m trying to force install updates on some Macs. I’d used a policy for this with the update settings set to Download and Install and manually triggered the updates. But the devices remained on the current version, which is weird as in the Action history as I see the action status as Initiated. Anyone got any thoughts on how to fix this issue?
Hi folks!! Has anyone else run into this issue where Hexnode’s password policy fails because it conflicts with the existing Microsoft account complexity requirements?
Hey everyone, quick question about Zebra OS updates. We downloaded the latest OS update package directly from Zebra, but we are hitting a wall trying to install it. Does anyone know if we can just push this file directly to the devices?
I’m trying to set Hexnode as the compliance partner for iOS devices in Intune, but I’m unable to proceed. Has anyone run into this before?
Hey everyone, I’m running into an issue on one of our Android devices in kiosk mode. We’re testing an authenticator app with passkeys/passwordless login. The app requires setting a screen lock to complete the login, but when the screen lock settings are opened, it shows “access denied” and the app crashes immediately. Has anyone run…
Hey folks! I have a quick question; can I delete a device group that I created myself?
Hi guys, I’m trying to apply the Hexnode Access policy on a few Macs in our organization, but it keeps failing. I feel like I’m missing something obvious here. Any ideas what might be causing it?
Hey all, I’m working on setting up a fleet of Samsung Galaxy tablets for a launch event coming up soon. I have already configured the tablets in kiosk mode with Hexnode, and everything is going smoothly, except that the default on-screen keyboard keeps popping up whenever someone interacts with the app. Since it's a high-traffic…
We’ve got a bunch of Xiaomi tablets we're trying to put into kiosk mode. I’ve configured the policy and pushed it into the devices. However, when we hit the Enable Kiosk Mode action from the Hexnode portal, nothing happens on the device. The kiosk only starts up after someone presses the power button on the device-end and swipes up. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem and put the devices into kiosk mode?
Hey folks, One of our users keeps reporting that their iPad refuses to install iOS updates even though Hexnode shows that an update is available. The device just sits there doing nothing. Wi-Fi is fine; the command was sent but still has no progress. Has anyone bumped into this before?
Hey everyone, I recently discovered that we could use the Google Workspace credentials to sign in to a Windows device locally using Hexnode Access. I purchased the Secure LDAP service for my Google Workspace account, set up the LDAP client, and added the LDAP certificate for the configured client in Hexnode to enable authentication for the users in my organization when they sign in to their devices using their…
Hey team, We sadly use custom ROM flashed android devices that don't allow us to own them through android enterprise the classic way. This means our options for automated deployment are slim, as you don't offer a way to upload .apk files directly to your API for distribution. Due to this restriction, it…
Policies are aware of their version but it's not possible to compare two different versions to understand what was changed. Please add a support to compare two versions of a policy and compare two policies for differences.
I see that you've populated the Category and Content Rating fields for iOS apps, and I find this very useful! The Play Store has similar fields, and I'd love to be able to access them inside Hexnode. I see that you have a place for this information in your API "Search Apps" results, but for…
The UEM application App Catalog is aware of the software being installed, and is aware of the current version of software. It would be nice if there was a button that could be clicked in the App Catalog that would allow you to update the software. I spoke with support today and their recommendation was…
To enforce a strong password policy only for standard local user accounts, while excluding administrator accounts from the same policy enforcement.
If I have an update to a piece of software, I want to be able to determine which devices have the software and which version each device has so that I can get an idea of how many need to be updated as well as determine which computers to "pilot" the new software on. Right…
It is so annoying to have to use 2FA for actions that require password verification when we're already logged in to Hexnode. At least enable use of the Authenticator app we use to sign in so we're not getting a ton of 2FA emails.
now it's only possible general users , a reading permission user will be useful.
There is currently no option to change the font color for device details. Would it be possible to please allow for that to be something that we can change? The default red is too bright.
Would be cool to be able to make custom automations based on actions in hexnode...Fx: When phone is enrolled, send webhook When phone is going out of kiosk - Send webhook
Our developers mainly use MacOS. However, there are a few that would like to run linux. We have certain policies in our organization that describe the requirements that need to be met inorder to use in this case operating systems. A big one is making sure that de disks are encrypted and the encryption key…
It would be very helpful if I could see the device DEP configuration option when I am looking at a device. It would be very helpful if I could set the device DEP configuration option when I'm looking at a device.
