I want to enroll my browsers (Chrome) on GWS. I have deployed an app configuration, selected the browser and added the XML with the Token from GWS. Its been 2 hours, restarted the browsers and the chrome://policy still shows blankIs this not Doable? The XML is and the code on the picture, obviously its going to…
I recently upgraded from the Enterprise plan to the Ultimate plan because I was under the impression that the 10‑minute screen lock for macOS and Windows, along with media management features, were included. After upgrading, I noticed that the Windows screensaver and media management policies are still greyed out. Can someone clarify if these features are actually part of the Ultimate…
Hi team, We’re setting up an Android kiosk lockdown policy and need to enable the Camera app. Could you guide me on how to configure this so that the Camera is accessible within kiosk mode?
Hey everyone, quick question. We’re trying to move a bunch of our iPhones from physical SIM cards over to eSIMs to make things easier to manage. Can I just use Hexnode to 'assign' the phone number from the physical card to the eSIM, or is there more to it?
We manage corporate-owned devices across retail stores and warehouses. Recently, a few devices were taken off-site without authorization. Nothing critical happened, but it exposed a gap. Instead of waiting for someone to report a missing device, we want devices to automatically secure themselves the moment they leave approved locations. Has anyone implemented a geo-fence based…
We're deploying Samsung XCover 6Pro/7 devices with global SIMs, but they keep defaulting to "National Roaming Only", blocking data abroad. This effectively kills data connectivity for our field teams as soon as they cross a border until someone manually goes into settings and changes it. We've pushed the APNs via Hexnode, but the roaming scope remains restricted, and users can't change it manually. Is there a…
Hi all, a customer reached out asking if it’s possible to block safe mode boot through policy. They’re using kiosk mode, and they’re concerned that users could bypass restrictions by booting into safe mode. Has anyone dealt with this before?
Hi Team, I’m working with a customer who requires BitLocker encryption on Windows devices. The key requirement is that the BitLocker startup screen must be the first prompt after powering on the devices, and the user must enter a PIN before the Windows login screen appears. Encryption is completed successfully, but after reboot, the device goes straight to the Windows login screen and…
I uploaded a new .p7m token for an ADE account into Hexnode UEM, but it’s throwing an error saying, “invalid token.” Has anyone else faced this?
Hey everyone, I need to update only a few specific apps across my macOS devices, mainly for security reasons. I know that Install application remote action would work, but I don't have the time to manually select devices and execute the action each time there’s an update. I’m also not looking to update everything automatically, since a few teams rely on specific app versions for compatibility. Is there a better…
Hi guys, we’ve had a couple of incidents where junior technicians accidentally ran actions on multiple devices at once. It caused a lot of disruptions. Is there any way to stop them from performing bulk actions in Hexnode UEM?
The Hexnode Store has a lot of great Apps like Libre Office for MacOS. I would to be able to install Hexnode Store Apps automatically via Policy. Also I would like to be able to add Hexnode Store Apps to the App Catalog so Users can Install these Apps on their own using Hexnode on…
Hey team, We sadly use custom ROM flashed android devices that don't allow us to own them through android enterprise the classic way. This means our options for automated deployment are slim, as you don't offer a way to upload .apk files directly to your API for distribution. Due to this restriction, it…
Policies are aware of their version but it's not possible to compare two different versions to understand what was changed. Please add a support to compare two versions of a policy and compare two policies for differences.
I see that you've populated the Category and Content Rating fields for iOS apps, and I find this very useful! The Play Store has similar fields, and I'd love to be able to access them inside Hexnode. I see that you have a place for this information in your API "Search Apps" results, but for…
The UEM application App Catalog is aware of the software being installed, and is aware of the current version of software. It would be nice if there was a button that could be clicked in the App Catalog that would allow you to update the software. I spoke with support today and their recommendation was…
To enforce a strong password policy only for standard local user accounts, while excluding administrator accounts from the same policy enforcement.
If I have an update to a piece of software, I want to be able to determine which devices have the software and which version each device has so that I can get an idea of how many need to be updated as well as determine which computers to "pilot" the new software on. Right…
It is so annoying to have to use 2FA for actions that require password verification when we're already logged in to Hexnode. At least enable use of the Authenticator app we use to sign in so we're not getting a ton of 2FA emails.
now it's only possible general users , a reading permission user will be useful.
There is currently no option to change the font color for device details. Would it be possible to please allow for that to be something that we can change? The default red is too bright.
Would be cool to be able to make custom automations based on actions in hexnode...Fx: When phone is enrolled, send webhook When phone is going out of kiosk - Send webhook
Our developers mainly use MacOS. However, there are a few that would like to run linux. We have certain policies in our organization that describe the requirements that need to be met inorder to use in this case operating systems. A big one is making sure that de disks are encrypted and the encryption key…
