Introducing Hexnode XDR

Security should not live in a separate silo away from device management. Hexnode XDR bridges the gap, allowing you to bring monitoring, investigation, and response into the same ecosystem as your managed devices. By integrating Hexnode XDR with your UEM instance, you no longer need to switch between disconnected tools to understand what happened on…

How to temporarily remove a policy from a device

Hi team,    One of my devices has a policy applied through a User Group, and I need to remove it from the device temporarily. However, I only see the option to associate policies, and there doesn’t seem to be a direct option to remove it.   Could you please guide me on how to remove the policy from the device?

Why are enrollment invites still sent to my old email?

Hi all,  When I send an enrollment invite to email, it’s going to my old address. That email was mistakenly used earlier as the Google domain admin, but I’ve disenrolled it and now I’m using a new email address. I’m wondering why it’s still sending to the old email.

How do I check non‑compliance reasons in Hexnode?

Hi all,  Some of our devices are showing up as non-compliant in Hexnode because of block-listed apps. The issue is, I can’t figure out which policy or app is causing this. Any ideas on how to track it down?

iOS update issue

Hey guys! I have several iPhones currently running iOS 18.6.2 that need to be upgraded to iOS 26.3. I first tried updating them through the Automate tab, but that didn’t work. When I attempted to update them manually, I noticed there’s no update OS option available in the Actions menu. Has anyone encountered this?

Scan device location fails

Hi, I tried running the scan device location action on a Mac that’s currently in our warehouse. I was just testing it before deploying the device. The action is showing as failed in the action history though the device is physically there. Any idea why this would happen?

A New Layer of Android Control – Execute custom scripts

Android device management is entering a more dynamic phase in Hexnode UEM. A new remote action will soon make it possible to execute custom scripts directly from the Actions menu on managed Android devices, bringing real-time control to everyday operations.   Instead of building and assigning policies for every unique task, you’ll be able to push custom logic instantly…

Add ability to update or create apps with manifest paths

Hey team,   We sadly use custom ROM flashed android devices that don't allow us to own them through android enterprise the classic way. This means our options for automated deployment are slim, as you don't offer a way to upload .apk files directly to your API for distribution.   Due to this restriction, it…

View policy version history

Policies are aware of their version but it's not possible to compare two different versions to understand what was changed. Please add a support to compare two versions of a policy and compare two policies for differences.

Update option in HexNode UEM App Catalog software

The UEM application App Catalog is aware of the software being installed, and is aware of the current version of software. It would be nice if there was a button that could be clicked in the App Catalog that would allow you to update the software. I spoke with support today and their recommendation was…
