iOS mail app prompting for password even after configuring SCEPSolved

The email app on our ios devices is still prompting the user for credentials even though we set up certificate based authntication using SCEP. Anyone else had this issue?

Make sure the values in the SCEP policy match the same authentication values in the Exchange server. The client certificate’s subject or the subject alternative name (SAN) field must contain the User Principal Name (UPN) of the AD user for the authentication to work. That solved it for us.

Hello @HerbertCunningham,

As @a_la_nn mentioned, the issue usually arises when there’s a mismatch in the credentials. Ensure that the credentials provided while configuring the SCEP policy are accurate, especially the Subject and SCEP Password field values.
