GSuite user device limitSolved

we are using Gsuite integration and assigning devices directly under the Gsuite user account. However, there seems to be a limitation and we cannot add more device under one of the accounts (say Account A). Even if we reassign the device ownership to another owner (Account B), a new device (or even old one) cannot be enrolled under account A. Is the 10 devices limit an one time thing which we can’t reuse?

Hi @Lyra, the maximum number of devices “enrolled in the Android Enterprise program via G Suite” that you can assign to a single G Suite user is 10. Even if you change the owner of one such device, the total number of Android Enterprise devices associated with the G Suite user remains the same. If you’ve already exhausted the ten devices quota or want to change the device owner, you’ll need to disenroll the device and enroll freshly. This way, you can reallocate device ownership for G Suite users.

Cheers!

hey, we wanted to try something similar to this a while back, so we thought we’d come back to this reply. Does the 10 device limit also apply to different domains? For example, can domain A (primary domain) and domain B (secondary domain) have 10 devices each allocated in the user account?

Hi @lyra, glad to have you back!

No matter the number of domains owned, the device limit for a single G Suite user regardless of a secondary domain is 10. While it is possible to have multiple domains in your G Suite user account, the G Suite user account itself will have a limit of 10 devices to enroll. Thanks for coming back to this reply. Don’t hesitate to reach out again if you have any further queries.
