Hello everyone, we have some apps in VPP that we are looking to deploy to our clients cross countries. We are based out of Canada but some of our employees are working from other countries and we cannot deploy apps with our ABM account for them since their country is different and not allowed.

Deploying regional app with Apple VPPSolved

We are also facing the same problem. We have an app that our employees outside our HQ region cannot use due to this restriction. Right now, the best solution seems to be creating a Managed Apple Id for them with our ABM and using that to deploy the app. But this is quite inconvenient for them and for us. Anyone having other ways to solve this?
Hi @a_la_nn and @Dahlia, thanks for bringing up your concern.
Ideally, the app should be made available for global distribution or at least for all countries you want to distribute to and the developer can do this. Would you mind getting in touch with the developer of the app with your requirement?

like @zach-goodman puts it settings the app regions seem to be the only solution right now. Tried changing the app store and apple id region for our account but it doesn’t work. We have some app that we deployed through ABM and use Hexnode to distribute and manage. Now the complication is that we have some partners and we are not managing their devices, how can we deploy our app to their device without MDM?
@sysadminatsolutions I think the Apple Enterprise developer program could help in your case. https://developer.apple.com/programs/enterprise/
For some reason, I cannot even find my app to add on the ABM Apps and Books list. When searched it keeps showing No Results.
Did you try searching for the exact keyword?
@Cad_e, while searching for your app, try applying a device filter; some apps may have a specific target device, so they might not turn up for a general search. For example, if you signed in to ABM from a Mac, the search result could be automatically restricted to macOS apps. To get around this, on the search box, find the filter icon, click on it, and set the filter as Type and select an appropriate device.
All apps available on the App Store should be available on ABM as well. However, you may deploy the apps only if the device/account regions match the specific region it was intended and configured for.
Cheers!
