The feature enables the enterprise to distribute any content to the enrolled Android devices. The file management feature provides security over corporate files even when scattered among numerous end points. File management is a part of Content management which is a strong security feature that an MDM can possess. This feature is available from the Hexnode app v9.6.1.
Hexnode MDM has already implemented Application Management feature which lets the enterprise to distribute, install and uninstall any kind of applications. The File management is similar to enterprise app management feature. The enterprise will be able to send any file (which may be documents, apps, videos etc) to any of the enrolled Android devices and they can also specify where the file can be stored. The file will then be downloaded from the server to the device automatically. No prompts or permissions are required for this process. This file can also be deleted from the device remotely from Hexnode MDM. Thus the file distributed to the devices can be secured even if the devices become compromised.
